A continuation of my little series of paintings following the pilgrimage of the lone wanderer, Red.
It was part of an assignment in last semester for my illustration class. My teacher challenged me to draw something that I wasn't comfortable with, and for me, that was environments! Mountains and rocks in general are a pain in the ass and sooo damn difficult, so I was pretty stoked with how this turned out after manyy hours of trying to get the mountain looking right! This was inspired by my visit to the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia, where the flats become a natural reflective mirror!
